In total, The Maritime Museum of San Diego allows visitors to experience 11 heritage boats and submarines. Not only is the Star of India believed to be one of the oldest ships of its time. But it is impressive in the fact that it still sails regularly. 

The history of this ship dates all the way back to the year 1863. This was the year that this vessel was first built. After its construction, it was launched out of the Isle of Man. After that, the vessel’s main mission was to carry a range of cargo between New Zealand, India, and Britain. Although this fabulous structure no longer is an operational cargo carrier, it is still a site to visit.
