A Scottish steam train donned The Jacobite is traveling routes from Fort William to Mallaig this fall. This train is made to model the famous coach from the Harry Potter movies. Rowling’s well-known works of fiction or enjoyed her tales being depicted on the big screen. Muggles can make their dreams of riding into Harry Potter’s world a reality with this unique attraction.

This train runs 84 miles across Western Scotland.

Travel across the rolling hills of the Scottish countryside and enjoy the spectacular scenic views outside your window. The route begins near the Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. From there, ride the winding rails past the beautiful lochs and colorful fall landscape as you head to your destination.

These trips run this fall until October, as well as select winter mornings in December. Ticket cost ranges from £35 to £59 if you opt for first class seating. The ticket fee is a small price to pay in exchange for a magical adventure into the world of wizardry.

Perhaps the most famous glen in Scotland, Glencoe is a delight to all who visit. The filming of many scenes from The Prisoner of Azkaban took place in this part of the Scottish Highlands.
