Let’s Talk Accommodations
Jade Mountain Resort offers five different types of gorgeous accommodations, aptly termed Sanctuaries. Above all, the design champions an open, inviting atmosphere. Sanctuaries include Galaxy, Sun, Moon, Star, and Sky suites. All but one offer a spacious infinity pool. While the room itself is stunning, the landscape views steal the show.
A Personalized Ambiance

To say nothing of the personalized ambiance would be a shame. Everything you will find within your room lends to the immersive experience of a lush oasis. Living room areas are furnished with more than 20 different indigenous species of tropical hardwood flooring – harvested in an environmentally sustainable way. Jade Mountain Resort’s technicians visited the Rainforest of Guyana to personally select which trees should be used. In addition to the locally sourced fine tropical wood, an eclectic collection of furniture has been placed in the sanctuaries.
Interior Design
Furthermore, the interior walls are finished in a warm and soothing blush toned plaster quarried in Barbados. All infinity pool sanctuaries, as well as the sky jacuzzi suites offer plush king-sized beds. In-sanctuary facilities include a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and an electronic in-room safe. Butlers, or Major Domos, service all sanctuaries round the clock.
Equally important, guests will receive a “firefly” communication device upon arrival, allowing them to contact the service team at any time. In order to maintain the overall resort experience, there are no radios, televisions, or telephones in the sanctuaries. Instead, you'll have stunning views. Unparalleled Views
Each of the 24 total infinity pool sanctuaries at Jade Mountain Resort is carefully designed as individual works of art and architecture. All celebrate unparalleled views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. Additional panoramic quality is provided by sanctuaries at particular elevations and those located on corners.
Expect grand sweeping spaces with 15 foot high ceilings and an open fourth wall that opens to the views while still allowing for ultimate privacy. All other aspects include layout and size vary from sanctuary to sanctuary. Four rate categories of infinity pool sanctuaries have been created to reflect the square footage of your sanctuary: Star, moon, sun, and galaxy.
In addition to the 24 infinity pool sanctuaries, there are also 5 jacuzzi suites which feature a large jacuzzi tub for two but do not offer a private pool. Now, let’s take a look at each of the sanctuaries and see what they have to offer.
Galaxy Sanctuary

First and foremost, if you can manage to book the Galaxy sanctuary, do it. While all of the suites are stunning, this one offers unobstructed views of the island. Located on the southwest corner of the Jade Mountain, the Galaxy Sanctuaries offer the most commanding panoramic views plus the largest square footage. The rooms average 2,000 square feet while the infinity pool spans 900 square feet.
Sun Sanctuary

If you can't snag the Galaxy Sanctuary, don't worry. There are plenty of other beautiful Sanctuaries besides it. Sun infinity pool sanctuaries span 1,800 – 2,000 square feet in size with infinity pools of 900 square feet. Due to their corner location northeast and southwest of Jade Mountain, they offer a stunning 270-degree panoramic view of the Caribbean.
Moon Sanctuary

Moon infinity pool sanctuaries are a little different from the aforementioned suites. They span 1,600 – 1,950 square feet in size with infinity pools around 650 square feet. They are located on various levels of Jade Mountain.
Star Sanctuary

Star infinity pool sanctuaries are between 1,400 – 1,800 square feet with infinity pools of 450 square feet. They are located on various levels of Jade Mountain.
Sky Jacuzzi Suite (No Private Infinity Pool)

The 5 Sky Jacuzzi Suites are located on the lower hillside level of the Jade Mountain Resort. Sky Suites feature a large jacuzzi tub for 2 persons but do not have a private infinity pool. With this in mind though, you know you will be getting a pretty good deal on this sanctuary. Suites average about 1,650 square feet, featuring a two-room layout. A large and comfortable space welcomes you with a comfortable living room, open bath design, and raised jacuzzi tub open to the views. After all, that's what you really came for.

Chocolate Laboratory

Over 200 cocoa trees are speckled across the resort’s estates, including the organic farm Emerald’s in the Soufriere Hills.
