This Monday’s earthquake impacted hundreds of travel plans.

On Monday, June 19, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the city of Osaka, Japan, killing four people and injuring hundreds more. The severe structural damage to the city and its roads is certainly taking a toll. People traveling throughout Osaka, Japan's main Honshu Island, certainly felt the effects of the devastating occurrence this Monday.

In light of Monday’s earthquake disaster, this Honolulu based airlines is ready to help travelers. For a limited time, Hawaiian Airlines is waiving the reservation change fee for flights originally booked to, from, and through Osaka, Japan (KIX/ITM) through Tuesday.

Don’t forget, however, that there are select regulations to adhere to when rescheduling your flight.

Keep in mind that this is a one time deal and only applies to select travel circumstances. First, the ticket issued on or before June 17. The initial travel dates should fall between June 18-19. Your new trip booking must also commence no later than June 24 to qualify.

Fortunately, a free flight reservation change might be what a lot of people traveling to and from Japan need right now. If you have a flight that you need to change, do so by calling Hawaiian Airlines’ reservations department at 1-800-367-5320.
