Are you passionate about videography and exploring new cultures? Then this just might be the opportunity you have been waiting for. Travel community World Nomads is seeking a unique individual to take on a special video project.
Do you have what it takes to be a videographer for World Nomads?
Trek across the plains of the spectacular Serengeti on an engaging 12-day filmmaking trip with World Nomads. Your role is to capture the stories of the locals and share what tourism looks like in exotic Tanzania. You’ll be getting up close and personal with the wildlife and the everyday culture of the nation. Sponsored by adventure experts, OneSeed Expeditions, this is sure to be a videography gig you won’t soon forget.
If the opportunity itself is not enough, there are a number of added benefits. World Nomads will take care of your flight's costs to and from Tanzania. Additionally, you get to work alongside professional filmmaker Brian Rapsey, who will personally offer advice to better your skill set. Of course, you won’t walk away from this experience empty-handed. World Nomads is suiting up their videographer with high-tech gear from RØDE Microphones and Langly.
Are you ready to apply for this epic excursion?
To try your hand at the opportunity, World Nomads is asking candidates to make a three-minute documentary. The video can be on one of the following themes: Courage, Kindness, or Acceptance. Once you make your masterpiece, upload it to either YouTube or Vimeo and make sure it is publicly assessable. Finally, in 1,500 characters or less, tell World Nomads why you should be the recipient and what this opportunity means to you.
The application window closes July 10, so be sure to get started on your submissions. The winner is going to be announced on August 8 in anticipation of the October trip.
