Looking for a new job? Disney has you covered.
Does your traditional nine to five job have you dreaming of places beyond those four office walls? If you’d rather see the world than sit behind a desk, check out this unique job opportunity. Disney Cruise Line is looking to expand their staff and is currently hiring for multiple positions. Warning: You may have to work in the Bahamas.
Do you have what it takes to work for Disney Cruise Line?
The open positions include placement on Disney’s four cruise liners and their personal island paradise location right in the Bahamas. Before you start packing your bags and turning in your resignation, first check out the details of what these positions entail.
If you join the team, you’ll be working alongside the famed Mickey and Minnie Mouse, as you assist with the meet and greet sessions onboard. Additionally, the role includes caring for children from ages 3-17 in the various group activities.
The ideal applicant is 20 years of age or older. As the job requires caring for children, a minimum of two years of experience is required in a similar field of work. If you previously worked for a children’s camp or childcare setting, this just might be the position for you. Reportedly, if you have “microphone experience” and happen to also be bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese, you’ll be more than qualified.
Keep in mind that this position is no small commitment. Time off is limited and the average work week is 70-84 hours. With the cruise liners, of course you’ll get to travel around the Caribbean, so prepare to live aboard the ships while you're working.
Are you ready to jump right in? Apply online today and take a chance at the job of a lifetime with Disney Cruise Line.
